Most recently, Avery portrayed the role of Decius in Boston University College of Fine Arts School of Theatre’s production of William Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar directed by Grant Sorenson. The performance was a fresh take on a Shakespeare classic. Set in a University, the play’s themes of power, betrayal, ambition, and the consequences of political intrigue were placed in a new light. Julius Caesar played November 15 - 17 in Studio ONE at 855 Commonwealth Avenue in Boston.
